Every move toward an accessible website is a step forward – for you, your visitors, and our society. At first glance, accessibility appears to be a straightforward task. However, anyone who examines this issue for any length of time will quickly find that it's not as straightforward as it first appears. This is due mainly to the high number of different disabilities and the vast differences in the technological equipment of the various user groups. However, it is still worthwhile to pursue.
Accessible websites typically offer higher usability and technical stability. Google also benefits from using the semantic coding that organises your content. Accessible websites benefit everyone. You and I both.
